Shaanxi Puwei Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. has launched a new generation of ceramic robotic arms featuring a black PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) anti-static coating. Built on high-performance alumina ceramic substrates, these arms offer superior wear resistance, ultra-low friction, and reliable static protection—making them ideal for semiconductor manufacturing environments.
The PTFE coating significantly reduces surface friction, minimizing mechanical wear during the handling of sensitive electronic components. It also serves as a robust barrier against a wide range of chemicals, safeguarding the ceramic arm from corrosive agents and extending its operational lifespan.
The black anti-static coating plays a critical role in dissipating electrostatic charges, effectively preventing electrostatic discharge (ESD) that could otherwise damage precision electronic components. This ensures safer and more stable production processes.

These ceramic robotic arms, named for their hand-like structure, are specially designed with internal air channels and pores. When vacuum is applied, the arms gently grip semiconductor wafers without exerting pressure that could cause cracks or scratches, ensuring secure, damage-free transfer.
